Come runcbus with us in 2012!

On April 10th, 2011 we welcomed 1300 runners and walkers to the inaugural event and boy did we have a blast. We have taken much of the input we recieved from 2011 and are focused on putting on an event in 2012 that is focused around providing YOU the ultimate experience. From the second you receive your confirmation email until the minute you pull out of the parking lot after a well run 10 miler, we want you to receive first class treatment.

RACE DAY:

Race Start - 8 am

Race Day Packet Pick Up - Begins at 6:15 am and runs until 7:30 am

PRE RACE DAY PACKET PICK UP:

Race packets will be available for pick up at Second Sole Gahanna (1245 N. Hamilton Rd.) begining Monday April 9th and running through Saturday April 14th. Store Hours:

Monday thru Friday: 10 am - 8 pm

Saturday: 10 am - 6 pm

COURSE:

The USATF certified course will once again feauture a pictureseque tour of our home city of Gahanna. Described by most participants in year one as anywhere from "slighly rolling" to challenging" it is a great way to prepare yourself for half and full marathon goal races later on in the Spring.

On-Course Aid:

There will be 5 aid stations along the 10 mile course featuring a combination of water and electrolyte drink. Additionally, there will be energy gel available at Mile 7. There will be two portable restroom locations available on course.

Post Race Entertainment:

Post race entertainment will once again include festivites just steps from the finish line. Stick around afterwards for great local food, refreshments, DJ, bands and giveways!

Chronotrack Chip Timing:

Second Sole Racing will be providing Chronotrack B-Tag Timing for each participant. When you pick up your race number the B-Tag chip will already be attached, so on race day all you have to do it put on your number and come to the starting line!

AWARDS:

Awards will be awarded to the 3 Male and Female finishers overall, the top Male and Female masters participants as well as the top 3 Male and Female finishers in each of the following age groups:

14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and older.

We will also be having a special New Balance Category. The first 3 males and females to finish wearing a pair of New Balance shoes will recieve age group awards!

Additionally, we will be doing Walking Awards to the top 5 Male and Female walkers to finish.

ENTRY POLICY:

Race entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. Under special circumstances we will transfer entries to the next years event. Please email paul@secondsoleohio.com with any questions or requests.
